I am a sophomore at the University of Delaware, majoring in Hospitality Industry Management at the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics with a minor in Finance. In 2014, I was a proud member of one of the award-winning teams in UD's "Three Minute Pitch Presentation Competition". As a new brother in Kappa Sigma Fraternity, founded on the pillars of leadership, scholarship, and service, I plan to be very active in our volunteerism programs and hope to earn a leadership position in the very near future.

Growing up in Cape May, New Jersey, the nation's oldest seashore resort, I have worked in a wide range of hospitality jobs, starting out by sweeping floors and folding pizza boxes at age eleven. Over the years, I observed first-hand what it takes to build and maintain a successful, customer-service oriented business. Early on, I developed a strong work ethic, always trying to work harder than the next guy in order to demonstrate leadership and help build morale.

I believe my determination and discipline was a large part of the reason I was voted captain of my varsity basketball and lacrosse teams in both junior and senior year of high school. And as an Eagle Scout who was actively involved in the Scouting program since age four, I also have learned countless life lessons about the importance of character and perseverance which will continue to serve me well as I finish my college education and go on into the business world.
